Creating Your First Course
Setting up your first course is the foundation of using ClubPapel. This guide will walk you through the process step-by-step.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have:
- ✅ Completed your club signup
- ✅ Signed into your dashboard
Step 1: Navigate to Courses
From your dashboard, click on Courses in the main navigation menu.
Step 2: Click "Add Course"
On the Courses page, you'll see an "Add Course" button in the top right corner. Click it to open the course creation form.
Step 3: Fill in Course Details
Course Name
Enter your golf course name (e.g., "Pebble Beach Golf Links", "Augusta National").
Number of Holes
Select the number of holes for your course:
- 9 holes - For shorter or executive courses
- 18 holes - Standard full course
Time Zone
Select your local time zone. This ensures tee times are displayed correctly for you and your members.
Operating Hours
Set your course's typical operating hours:
- Start Time: When your first tee time is available (e.g., 6:00 AM)
- End Time: When your last tee time starts (e.g., 6:00 PM)
Tee Time Interval
Choose how frequently tee times are available:
- 8 minutes - High volume courses
- 10 minutes - Standard interval
- 12 minutes - Recommended for most courses
- 15 minutes - Leisurely pace
Step 4: Create Your Course
Click the "Create Course" button at the bottom of the form.
What Happens Next?
Once created, your course will appear in your courses list. You can now:
- Configure Tee Times - Set up specific availability for different days
- Add Staff Members - Invite your team to help manage operations
- Start Taking Bookings - Begin managing your tee sheet
Starter Tier Limits
Your Starter tier ($20/month per club) includes:
- ✅ 1 course
- ✅ Admin tee sheet management
- ✅ Up to 75 members
Need more courses or member-facing booking? Upgrade to Pro for up to 5 courses, unlimited members, and card payments at checkout.
